A Picnic Disaster
Featuring Rabid, Merr, Aeolus, Kyro, and Bree. Read left then right before going down. Not Finished.
Did you really wake me up?
Rabid slowly opened his eyes when he heard a faint buzzing nearby. Nuzzling into his pillow, he blindly reached over, and felt around finding the source of the buzzing, his purple flip phone. Rabid’s vision was still slightly blurred from sleep so he couldn’t see who was calling so instead he flipped his phone open and answered sleepily.
“Hello?” “Hey Rabid! Wanna go on a picnic?” the voice on the other end belonged to Merr. Rabid groaned and rolled over on his back. “Uh, why would you want to go on a picnic at nine in the morning?” “It’s not nine in the morning; it’s actually about one in the afternoon. Wait, did you just wake up?” “No, I just sound sleepy because I’ve been laying in bed all morning.” Rabid answered sarcastically. “Is that a yes?” Merr asked, determined to get his rabid friend to go on a picnic with him. “Why? You never answered that.” “Because, I want to spend time with you.” There was a pause at Rabid’s end of the line. “Rabid?” Merr questioned, wondering if the Rottweiler mix had gone back to sleep. “Sure, I guess.” Came the sleepy reply. “Great. I’ll come and get you in about fifteen minutes.” “What? No! Merr I’m gonna need mo-“ Rabid’s reply was cut off as Merr hung up the phone. Rabid growled as he sat up in bed. How could Merr only give him fifteen minutes to get ready. The demon knew that Rabid needed his time to get the knots out of his coat and he also needed his coffee. Getting out of the bed, Rabid walked over to the dresser drawers and pulled out a pair of black basketball shorts and a tank top. Stumbling down stairs, Rabid passed a mirror and sighed as he saw the hair on his head and shoulders sticking out in odd directions. Oh well, it was only Merr so Rabid wasn’t worried too much. He was more worried about making his coffee at the moment. Walking by the coffee pot, Rabid hit the brew button and grabbed his special coffee cup. Pressing it to the coffee maker button, he watched as the brown liquid filled the cup and pulled it away when the cup was three quarters full. He poured the Vanilla Caramel creamer in before grabbing a spoon and starting to count out seven spoons of sugar. By the time Rabid reached five, he heard honking outside. Looking through the window, he saw a car pull into the driveway. That didn’t look like what Merr drove. This car was a black Ferrari with red racing stripes. Rabid sighed and added the last two spoons of sugar before dumping the coffee into a to-go mug and headed out the door, locking it behind him. |
Surprise Guest
As he walked towards the car, Rabid noticed two figures talking to each other. The person in the passenger seat was Merr, he could tell because every few seconds, his forked tongue would flick out. The person in the driver’s seat was a dark grey and light grey…wait, that was Aeolus. Rabid growled, he liked Aeolus but he thought Merr should’ve mentioned the fact that someone else was coming along. Oh well, the Rottweiler walked over to the car. Using his claw, he tapped on Merr’s window until he rolled it down.
“When were you going to tell me someone else was coming?” he asked. “It was supposed to be a surprise.” Aeolus said with a smile. “Lovely. First you drag me out of bed, wait, where am I supposed to sit?” Rabid asked, looking around for a seat somewhere. “On me?” Merr offered and Rabid shook his head. “I would rather ride on top of the car.” He huffed and Aeolus smiled. “Go for it.” Rabid sighed and quickly scrambled onto the top of the Ferrari, trying not to scratch it with his claws, and sat down. Merr poked his head out the window and smirked. “Ready to go?” “Ready as I’ll ever be.” Rabid answered before taking a sip of his coffee. |
Fast Cars and Rabid Road Kill?
Aeolus laughed as he put the car in reverse and turned around before driving back down Rabid’s ridiculously long driveway. As they pulled out on the highway, Aeolus sped up and Rabid tilted his head back and laughed as the wind went through his fur. Raising the coffee mug to his muzzle, Rabid tried to take a drink but the car sped around a curve and the coffee ended up spilling on his shirt.
“Dang it!” he muttered and sighed before watching the road ahead to make sure he didn’t have a little déjà vu with spilling his coffee. As they turned onto a straight part of the highway, Aeolus started speeding up again. Rabid wondered briefly if he would end up flying off the top of the Ferrari and ending up road kill with rabies on the road. Rabid shook the thought out of his mind as Aeolus went around another sharp curve. “Aeolus? Do you know how to drive?” he shouted above the wind. The Rottie didn’t really want to even think about how fast they were going now. “Yes. What makes you think I can’t?” “I don’t know. Maybe it’s the fact I might be thrown off the car at any second!” Merr leaned out the window and laughed. “It’s alright Rabid, we are almost there.” He said and Rabid reached down to slap him but only his claws caught in Merr’s fur. “Yes, so you are saying it’s alright if I end up Rabid road kill?” “It would be pretty funny to see that. A Rottweiler laying in the road just surrounded by rabies.” “Only you would find that slightly amusing Merr.” Rabid growled before taking another sip of his coffee. Merr shook his head and ducked back in, tugging Rabid’s claws out of his fur before muttering complaints to Aeolus. Aeolus pulled into a parking lot and opened his car door to step out. Merr had chosen a great place to have a picnic, even if the demon and the dog argued the whole time on the way there. Thinking about Rabid made Aeolus turn around to look at the Rottweiler/Husky mix sitting on the roof of the Ferrari. “Did you have fun?” he asked and Rabid looked at him and took another sip of coffee before answering. “A bit, other than the fact I almost fell off the car when we were turning corners.” The comment made Aeolus smile. “Well, time to leave the top of the car for a while, let’s eat and play in the water.” “Water?” “Yes, water. We are at a lake.” “Great, another unexpected thing.” Rabid muttered and Aeolus shook his head. Merr got out through the window instead of the door and grabbed Rabid from behind, dragging him off the roof as Rabid made an ungrateful squealing sound. “Don’t do that!” “Aww, but its fun.” Merr commented and received and dirty look from Rabid. “Let’s get going!” Aeolus said, before a fight could break out and grabbed the picnic box and blanket. Rabid shook his head and followed as Merr made a mad dash towards the sparkling waters of the lake. Aeolus laughed and Rabid gave him a funny look. “For a demon, he’s quite amusing. I wouldn’t think he would’ve invited anyone for a picnic.” “I didn’t even know he liked picnics. Apparently he likes them enough to drag me out of bed for them.” “Rabs, I still can’t believe you just woke up when we went to get you.” “I was drinking coffee.” “You’re always drinking coffee.” “Yep, and you made me spill it when you went around the curve!” “Would you two stop fighting?” Merr shouted and Aeolus laughed. “Who said we were fighting?” |
Coffee Stain
Aeolus smiled as he took two corners and Rabid took the other two corners to spread the blanket out. Merr was leaning against a tree holding Rabid’s coffee so it didn’t get knocked over or spilled while they were setting everything up. Rabid always seemed to get in a very bad mood if something happened with his coffee. Merr looked closer at Rabid’s shirt, was it just him or did it seem that there was a wet patch down the tank top from the right shoulder to mid-waist. The demon couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. Rabid’s ear twitched as he heard something between a growl and a giggle.
“What the heck?” he asked as he looked for the source and then noticed Merr, who had both paws covering his mouth. Aeolus looked at Rabid then looked at Merr. “You have a creepy laugh. If that’s what you call it. Why are you ‘laughing’?” “Rabid…you have a…stain or something…on your shirt.” The demon said between laughs and Rabid growled and shook his head. “My friends are idiots.” He muttered and looked around shaking his head. Aeolus looked closely at Rabid’s shirt and started laughing too. “Stop laughing at my coffee stain!” Rabid whined before the trio heard a clanking sound and a large splash. They looked out at the lake and saw ripples before something came up gasping for breath and flailing around. “Is that who I think it is?” Aeolus said, squinting to try and see what was happening better. “Yep. It’s Kyro. I think he was trying to jet pack over the lake…” Rabid answered and face palmed as Merr went running towards the water, shedding his shirt before jumping in and swimming out to the dragon. “How deep is the lake?” “Uh about ten foot, why?” “We better go help then…” Rabid said before taking off his tank top and walking towards the water, Aeolus following without bothering to take off his shirt. Merr had now reached the middle of the lake and Kyro had lunged towards him in an attempt not to end up drowning himself. Merr quickly realized the lake was deeper than he thought and he couldn’t touch the bottom. When Kyro reached Merr, he latched on and started weighing the demon down. “Wow, they are gonna drown themselves…” Aeolus muttered as he and Rabid started easing themselves closer towards the flailing pair. “Yep. Kyro doesn’t want to drown…and now he’s freaking Merr out because the demon can’t touch and Kyro is dragging him down…” Rabid said before swiftly making his way out to the six foot water. He could no longer touch so he hoped that the flailing demon and dragon wouldn’t try to grab onto him or they would have big problems. Aeolus was following but he seemed to keep his distance. Rabid looked back at him. “What are you scared?” he asked and yelped slightly in surprise as he was jerked backwards by Merr. He growled and tried to kick away so the demon couldn’t try to use him as a life jacket like Kyro was doing to Merr. Merr still grabbed onto Rabid’s waist and held on but Rabid attempted to keep fighting to get away. Aeolus stayed safely away from the group of semi-drowning fursonas as he decided what to do. He could try and save them and be drowned himself, he could try and grab Rabid and save him from the clutches of Merr or he could try and pull Kyro off who seemed to be causing the main problem in this. Deciding to go with the last one, Aeolus quickly swam behind them and grabbed Kyro by the wings. The dragon flailed from the surprise contact and let go of Merr and started wiggling to get away from Aeolus. Aeolus huffed and started dragging the dragon towards shallower water but that took a while considering Kyro wasn’t helping at all. If anything, he was making it worse by trying to get on top of Aeolus to get away from the water. When Aeolus reached the banks with Kyro, he looked back to see if Rabid needed help with Merr but they were in the four foot deep water and Merr had stopped trying to drown Rabid. Aeolus dragged Kyro out of the water and over to the blanket to wait for the other two to get out of the lake. Rabid had ended up picking up Merr and carrying him out of the water and over to the blanket. |
Jet Pack Funeral
“I think that’s enough time in the water right now.” Aeolus said and walked over to the picnic basket and swung it as he picked it up. Something clattered to the ground and everyone looked at Aeolus.
“That’s not good… It’s bad enough Merr couldn’t rescue me. Now Aeolus just spilled the rest of Rabid’s coffee.” Kyro said and glared at Merr before glaring at Aeolus. Rabid sighed and set Merr down on the blanket before walking over to his spilled coffee mug. He peered into it to check for any coffee that didn’t spill. He sighed and shook his head and Aeolus bit his lip. “I can make this better!” he said and pulled a pot of coffee out of the picnic basket. Merr shook his head in disbelief. “I can’t believe you just pulled a pot of coffee out of your picnic basket.” The demon said and Kyro made a face at the brown liquid. Merr looked out across the lake with a smile and Kyro looked at him with a pout. “We couldn’t save my jetpack.” Kyro said sadly. “I think we could barely save you.” Merr growled. “Look who’s talking, I had to carry you out of the water.” Rabid said, looking at the coffee Aeolus brought carefully. “Well my jetpack deserves a funeral!” Kyro proposed. “This coffee is cold!” “No duh! I made it at about eight this morning.” “You would give me cold coffee…” “How was I supposed to know that it wouldn’t stay hot?” Aeolus commented and Rabid face palmed. “Kyro, can you breath fire?” “Yep but it’s on-“ Kyro was cut off by Rabid shaking his head and putting the coffee pot on the ground. “Heat the coffee please.” He asked and stepped back to let Kyro work. “Why? My jetpack hasn’t had a funeral yet.” “Fine, we will give it a funeral after I’ve got coffee.” Rabid said and looked at the dragon who shook his head. “Funeral first.” Kyro said simply and sat down. Rabid shook his head. “Fine. We will have your funeral.” “How do we have a funeral?” Aeolus asked and Merr tilted his head. “Stand up.” Rabid paused as everyone stood. “Okay. At this moment we come together to lay the jetpack belonging to Kyro the dragon. The poor jetpack got sunk to the bottom of the lake during a struggle between me, Merr, and Kyro while we were trying not to drown. May you rest in peace.” The Rottweiler did a little cross thing like a Catholic before looking at the other three who did the same thing shortly after him. “Fine. You can have your coffee now.” Kyro said, happy with the little funeral that his jetpack was given. He turned to where Rabid had left the coffee pot on the ground. He inhaled a bit before letting out a blast of blue flame at the coffee pot. When Kyro cut off the flame, Rabid inched towards the coffee pot. “You could’ve told me your flame was blue!?” Rabid said and carefully tapped the glass of the coffee pot with his claw. When his claw tapped it, a crack started forming in the pot. “Uh, I think you should get your coffee now?” Merr suggested and held Rabid’s mug where he could pour the coffee into it. Rabid lifted the pot to pour the coffee and just as the coffee was about to pour into the mug, the coffee pot broke into pieces and the hot coffee spilled all over Merr’s paw. |
Lavender Sanitizer makes Purple Paws
Kyro jumped up and ran over to Merr, grabbing his hand and looking at it.
“You aren’t going to kiss it are you?” Rabid asked as he stared at the demon and dragon. “Not unless it’s sanitized.” “Oh, I’ve got sanitizer. Several smells, do you have a particular one you want?” Aeolus offered, pulling about five scents out of his basket. Kyro didn’t look but already knew what he wanted. “Lavender, please.” Aeolus looked down at the five scents. “Uh, no lavender…” “What kind of person doesn’t carry lavender hand sanitizer?” “Aeolus obviously.” Rabid said, trying not to laugh. “Wait, we could use my rabies foam as hand sanitizer.” Rabid offered, not really wanting his hands to smell like sanitizer. “Then his hands would still smell like coffee. Wait, I’ve got this!” Kyro pulls out a keyring and starts flipping through his key ring. “Uh, how are keys going to help us?” Aeolus asked, putting away his hand sanitizer. “How many keys do you have?” Rabid asked, lifting an eyebrow. “Eh, twenty-seven. Ah-ha! I’ve found it.” Kyro lifts up a key and brings it close to his face to read the number, eighteen. Turning it over, the dragon carefully brought a claw up and opened a little compartment in the key and pulled out a tiny vial of light purple liquid. “Did you just pull lavender hand sanitizer…out of a key?” Merr asked and Rabid shook his head. “Only you Kyro, only you.” “Of course, I have a key for everything.” “Is that why there’s so many?” “No, I just like keys and figured, why not have twenty-seven of them.” He said and carefully shook the vial over Merr’s coffee burnt paw and rubbed it carefully around before leaning over and kissing the paw. When he pulled back he smiled as he noticed the white fur was now a light purple. “Now your fur looks and smells like lavender.” “Aeolus, did you bring coffee creamer and sugar?” “Err, somewhere…I think.” “I didn’t want purple fur! I was born white!” “I think purple is a good color on you Merr. I always wanted to have purple scales.” “What kind of coffee creamer is it?” “Does it look like I know? Why can’t you just use your rabies foam?!” “What would that do? Other than make it foamy and rabies infested?” *Somewhere about forty-five miles away Bree laid across the couch at home and read the paper while drinking orange juice. His ear twitched as a he heard a very interesting conversation. Due to distance Bree only picked up a couple of things being said. Something about lavender sanitizer, twenty-seven keys, coffee, creamer, rabies foam and purple fur. Shaking his head, Bree stood up debating what to do. Merr had said earlier that he was going to the lake with Rabid and Aeolus. Maybe they wouldn’t mind if he joined them. Bree looked down at what he was wearing, only a pair of shorts and figured that it was enough to go out in and made his way to the door. He walked out the door and locked it behind him before walking over to the Z4 Merr owned. He dug out a key ring with twenty-three keys and flipped through about seven keys before finding the one that went to the car. Merr wouldn’t mind if he borrowed it. Plus, he wanted to know what that conversation was about. As he pulled onto the highway heading towards the lake Merr said they would be at, he couldn’t help but wonder what in the world he would find. |
Rabies Foam = Coffee Creamer
“What are some of the ups of having rabies and a foaming mouth?” Aeolus asked Rabid.
“Uh, people stay away from you and you aren’t bothered as much.” “Do you think it can be used as a creamer?” Kyro asked, pointing at Rabid’s coffee. “I don’t know.” “Okay then, let’s try it.” Merr said and used a finger to wipe some rabies foam off the side of Rabid’s mouth and shaking it off into the coffee mug. Rabid scrunched his nose as Merr’s lavender paw got rabies foam from his mouth. “Get your lavender paws away from my rabies foam.” He said as the foam sizzled in his coffee. “Wait, his claw is turning white from where he touched your rabies.” Aeolus pointed out and everyone looked at Merr’s paw that was now white and purple. As they were focused on Merr’s paw, a silver Z4 pulled up beside Aeolus’s car and parked. Bree stepped out and turned to look for Merr only to find him, Rabid, Aeolus, and Kyro focusing on Merr’s paw. Kyro leaned foreward and gently to the paw, kissing the white finger first, then the four purple ones and the white one again. Bree shook his head, wondering if he was possibly imagining this but as he looked back at the group and Kyro still kissing Merr’s fingers, he knew there was no way he was imagining this. Bree walked down to the group quietly so nobody would notice and looked at Merr’s paw. “What on earth have you managed to do?” Bree asked, trying and failing not to laugh at the four friends as the all jumped in surprise. Rabid managed to not spill his sizzling coffee but more rabies foam fell in it, making it sizzle and pop. Bree looked over at the Rottweiler and backed away from his sizzling cup of…something. “Well, Rabid spilled hot coffee on Merr’s hand after a jetpack funeral so I put some lavender sanitizer on it.” Kyro explained, like it was the simplest thing in the world. “Really, it looked like you were making out with his hand. And how is one of his fingers white?” “Rabid’s rabies foam. It apparently made him white again when Merr scooped it off Rabid’s face and into his coffee.” Aeolus said with a smile. “That’s why it’s sizzling. It won’t start to create a monster that will come out of the cup and attack you, I don’t think anyway.” Merr said, looking at the sizzling coffee carefully. “Do we have sugar?” Rabid asked and Aeolus pointed to the picnic basket and Rabid quickly looked through it before finding a bucket of sugar. |
Déjà Vu “You put sugar in a bucket?” Bree asked, looking at the bucket.
“He also fit a coffee pot into the basket, which broke when I was trying to pour it into the mug when Merr was holding it.” Bree carefully swept away some glass from the broken coffee pot with his tail as he sat down on the blanket. It would only be this group that would get in so much trouble over a picnic. “Wait, you missed my funeral!” Kyro whined. “You died?!” “No, his jetpack did, over the lake, we held a funeral for it.” “A Catholic jetpack funeral.” Aeolus added. “Jetpacks are religious?” “Yep.” Rabid said, after stirring sugar into his coffee. “Perfect.” He said, after sipping his coffee and sat down with a smile. “Bree-Bree, would you pretty please go get my jetpack out of the lake?” Kyro asked, looking at Bree with round pleading eyes. “Wait, what the heck? Why would I do that?” Bree said with a ‘wtf’ expression. “Because you wuve me so much.” Kyro said with a big smile. Bree sighed and stood up, brushing off his backside before striding down to the lake. As he stepped into the water, he looked to the side and saw two shirts lying on the bank. He looked back at the boys on the blanket, noticing for the first time that Kyro, Merr, and Rabid didn’t have shirts on. Wait, but neither did Bree so it didn’t matter too much. Bree walked out and slipped a bit in the mud of the lake. Looking back, he saw Merr waving to him from the bank with a smile on his face. Was the demon hiding something or just being weird? Bree didn’t have time to think about it as he stepped off the lake shelf and into about eight foot water. When he fought his way to the surface, Bree turned towards the shore. “Couldn’t you have given me a warning?” He growled back at them. Merr was biting his lower lip trying not to laugh at Bree. “Merr!” he whined and stuck out his lower lip. The demon’s ear twitched before he quickly scrambled down the bank into the lake and swam out to Bree before Rabid or Aeolus could stop him. “Déjà vu much?” Rabid growled as he started back down the bank after the love struck demon. Merr reached Bree and wrapped his arms around him. “You are safe now, I can tou-“ Merr tried touching the bottom but slipped considering they were in eight foot deep water. He quickly let go of Bree and started flailing around again and tried grabbing onto Bree for support. Bree tried pushing the demon away so he wouldn’t be drowned by Merr but it didn’t work. Rabid started swimming towards them carefully, even though he was still too far out of Merr’s reach to be used as a life raft. Kyro watched for a moment before jumping off the bank and gliding out over the water and looked down at the struggling Merr and Bree. “Can you see my jet pack yet?” Rabid looked up at Kyro. “Do you really think that now is the time?” “Yea, it can be brought back from the dead right?” Rabid huffed and rolled his eyes, swimming out to Merr and Bree. He approached from the side so he could pull Merr off of Bree by the waist, similar to how Aeolus did with Kyro’s wings before, except maybe Merr wouldn’t flail as much as Kyro did. As Rabid wrapped his arms around Merr, he realized his mistake. The demon lashed out two of his tails, wrapping one around each of Rabid’s legs. “Ah Merr, get control of your tails!” Instead of listening, Merr just squirmed more but did end up letting go of Bree before becoming an anchor to himself and Rabid, dragging them both under the murky lake water. Rabid let Merr’s waist go in an attempt to use his arms to get the pair to the top. Merr turned around and wrapped his arms around Rabid’s waist and nuzzled his chest. “Weird demon.” He mouthed the best he could without swallowing water. A few feet away from them at the bottom, he saw Kyro’s jet pack and the shirt that apparently got torn off the dragon. Rabid looked at the surface, knowing he’d run out of air soon but Kyro would kill him if he found out that the jetpack was within reach and Rabid didn’t get it for him. Rabid managed to grab a strap of the jet pack and pull it over. Merr was still snuggling Rabid’s chest so he couldn’t hold it very close. Rabid looked up and couldn’t see the top of the lake due to kicking up all the dirt at the bottom with Merr. Once Bree was free he started making his way back to the shore to sit and wait with Aeolus. Aeolus looked pretty concerned so Bree turned and looked back at the deeper water. Kyro was still waiting up above, probably to make sure Rabid was going to come back up. The water concerned him though; it was all muddy, probably from Rabid and Merr. Bree walked up on the bank and sat down with Aeolus, hoping that Rabid and Merr would be alright. Rabid started making his way to what he hoped was the surface of the lake. It was taking a while and dirt water was getting in his eyes. One of Merr’s tails had unwrapped from his legs so he could use one leg and one arm to swim with which wasn’t helpful. Kyro bit his lower lip before flying back over to Aeolus and Bree. As he landed, Rabid’s head broke the surface of the water. Kyro jumped up with a smile and grabbed Rabid’s coffee, knowing he would want it as soon as he got over to the blanket. Rabid swam until he was in the four foot deep area where he could touch and started walking, now using his extra hand to support Merr as the water got shallower. Bree sighed and shook his head as Rabid carried Merr and a jet pack up the bank and towards the blanket. Kyro ran towards Rabid and grabbed the jet pack and handed Rabid’s coffee to him. Rabid smiled and took a sip of his coffee before gently setting Merr back down on the blanket. Kyro went over to corner of the blanket and curled up in a ball snuggling his jet pack with a smile, muttering to himself and his jetpack. |
Fireflies are Unsanitary
Aeolus opened the basket and started taking out the food. There were different things for each of the sonas. Aeolus had gammon for Merr, turkey and cheese with broccoli and pepper for Bree, pizza for Kyro, some Danishes for Rabid, and some baked chicken for himself.
Kyro grabbed his jet pack and crawled over to the blanket as Aeolus put his baked chicken in front of him. Bree took his food and sat beside Merr. Rabid and Merr already had their food and were sitting and eating. “How did you get everyone’s favorite food?” Rabid asked, carefully taking a Danish off the plate and biting into it. “Uh, Merr told me yours, his, and Bree’s. Some time ago Kyro mentioned he liked pizza and some other stuff, so yeah… I just brought everyone’s favorite.” Aeolus said and scratched the back of his neck. Bree took a small bite of the turkey and smiled. “Thanks, it’s really good Aeolus.” He said and Aeolus nodded in acknowledgement. As the group ate, fireflies started to come out. “Flashy.” Rabid muttered as Merr jumped up and shoved the last bit of his Gammon in his mouth before starting to chase the flashing bugs and trying to catch them. Bree laughed and choked a little. Rabid offered his coffee but Bree shook his head. Rabid pouted as Aeolus pulled out a bottle of coke and opened it before offering it to Bree. Bree took the coke and chugged about half of it in an attempt to stop choking. Merr turned to look when he heard choking and saw Aeolus offer Bree a coke. He watched as Bree chugged it and handed it back. It didn’t seem like he was choking anymore so Merr went back to catching fireflies. After a few more moments, the weasel went back to the blanket with the others and jumped between Rabid and Bree and flashed his teeth which actually flashed. “You ate fireflies.” Bree said, staring at him and sighed. This was Merr for you. “Wow…are they yummy?” Rabid asked with a smile. “Of course, or else I wouldn’t eat them or…” Merr was cut off by Bree. “Yes you would don’t say that.” Bree said and Kyro jumped up shaking his head. “No! Fireflies aren’t sanitary!” Kyro said and grabbed his hand sanitizer again and ran towards Merr and opened it. Merr jumped up and dragged Rabid away from Kyro. Rabid laughed and let Merr pull him off towards the shore where the fireflies were dancing around. Kyro followed them, shouting how fireflies were unsanitary and that they should all be sanitized with lavender. “NO! THEY ARE TO BE EATEN!” Merr shouted back at Kyro and continued to drag Rabid away from Kyro. |
Bath Time in the Lake
Merr jumped up and caught two fireflies in his mouth. Rabid laughed before launching himself towards fireflies. As he came back down, he accidently swallowed.
“Oops…” he said and Merr laughed at him. “You aren’t supposed to eat them. Wait, are they yummy?” Merr asked “No! They are unsanitary and need to be cleaned!” Kyro stated as he walked up to the demon and Rottweiler. “I think you need to be cleaned for the second time today.” “No, I am perfectly sanitary mind you.” Kyro said and nodded his head. “Really? Cause I don’t think you are.” “I swear I am.” Kyro answered and Rabid went up behind him and sniffed him and started laughing quietly. “Hey Kyro…do you…bathe in…your…lavender…hand…..sanitizer?” Rabid asked, having trouble with the words through his laughter. Merr started laughing with Rabid and looked at Bree and Aeolus they had started a conversation and weren’t paying attention to the three down by the lake. “No! I have specially ordered lavender scented shampoo, conditioner and body wash!” Kyro stated and pouted. Merr took a breath and smirked evilly. “Bath time! He shouted and jumped at Kyro. Kyro screeched as Merr dragged him into the water of the lake, followed by Rabid. Bree and Aeolus heard the splash and looked down at the lake and saw Rabid and Merr scrubbing at Kyro’s scales with leaves and branches. Kyro didn’t look very happy and was attempting to fight the two off but Rabid was sitting on his back and Merr had his neck in a loose headlock so he couldn’t get away. Rabid got done washing his wings with leaves and started on his head and neck while Kyro argued with Merr about the proper way to hold a dragon’s neck. Rabid started making his way to Kyro’s tail. When he got to the end of the tail, Kyro flicked up water into Rabid’s face and Rabid stumbled back into the water. Merr and Kyro laughed as Rabid splashed his arms around in the water before standing up and shaking off a bit. “Not funny Kyro.” Rabid said, flinging water at the dragon. Kyro laughed but then looked at the leaves Rabid had flung when he fell into the water. He whirled around to face Rabid. “What have you done?!” “What do you mean?” Rabid asked and Kyro flicked water at Rabid. “You just washed me with Poison Ivy.” “What?” Rabid asked, looking down at his hands and Merr let go of Kyro and waded through the water over to Rabid. “I think this is not going to end well.” He said and both of them looked at Kyro who started freaking out. “Wait…can’t we put lotion or something on it to help?” Merr asked and Kyro stopped freaking a moment. “Yes. We can put on some of my lavender lotion on it and it will make it all better.” “We aren’t putting any more lavender stuff near or on us.” Merr stated and Rabid shook his head. “We should, it would be better than just letting it itch and spread. Besides, he has the most because we just bathed him in the stuff.” |
Room 12, Floor 7
Kyro nodded in agreement and the trio started heading back to the bank. Aeolus and Bree looked at each other when the three started walking towards them, trying not to touch themselves.
“What did you three do?” Bree asked and Rabid bit his lip. “Well….we sorta gave Kyro a bath and used poison ivy as a washcloth.” Rabid explained and Bree backed up from Merr. “Are you not gonna touch me?” Merr said and pouted. “No. You are probably covered in poison ivy cause you were bathing him too.” Bree said and Aeolus nodded slowly. “Well, I think we need to get back to a house so we can put lotion on them.” Aeolus suggested and Bree nodded. “We will go to Kyro’s house.” Rabid said and Merr and Kyro nodded. Aeolus sighed and looked at the picnic area. “Okay, let’s pack up and go to Kyro’s house.” He said and went to gather everything. Rabid grabbed his coffee cup and the bucket of sugar and nodded at Aeolus before putting the bucket into the basket and walking over to the car with his coffee. Merr rolled the blanket into a ball and tossed it into the car before climbing in himself. Rabid climbed onto the roof as Kyro got into the car with Bree and Aeolus threw the basket in the trunk before getting into the car and following Bree and Kyro to Kyro’s house. -skip to Kyro’s house- Bree pulled into the parking lot of a condo that looked really clean. Aeolus followed and parked beside Bree and Rabid got off the top of Aeolus’s roof and Merr climbed out through the window. Kyro stepped out of Bree’s car and itched his elbow a bit before he got slapped by Rabid and Merr. “Okay, before you guys go into itching fits, Kyro, where is your room?” Aeolus asked and Kyro pointed to a door at the top of the condominium. “Please tell me there is an inside door?” Bree asked and Kyro nodded. “Room twelve on floor seven.” Kyro said while Merr and Rabid stared up the wall of the condo. “Okay, Kyro you can fly to your room and the four of us will use an elevator or stairs to get there.” Aeolus said and Kyro nodded. “Challenge accepted!” Rabid growled before rubbing some rabies foam onto his paws and started to scale the condominium. Merr followed, jumping from window ledge to window ledge before climbing beside Rabid. “Apparently only two of you will be taking the elevator.” Kyro stated before jumping into the air and flying up to his door. Rabid and Merr scrambled into the door soon after while Aeolus and Bree went inside to the elevator and took it to the top floor to join the other three. Purple Rabies Foam Bree looked around Kyro's kitchen which had granite counters and was super organized, but what else would you expect from Kyro. A loud crash came from the living room and Bree ran back out there to see what happened. Kyro was trying to spread the lotion on Rabid and they had ran into the side table that Aeolus had backed Merr into and they knocked over the table, breaking it. Merr's white spots on his fur were now lavender purple and his black fur now looked dark purple. Examining Rabid, Bree noticed that his fur was dark purple and he now had light purple rabies foam coming from his mouth which only meant that Kyro somehow got some of the lotion into his mouth. Kyro pinned Rabid down on the floor and finished applying the lotion and Aeolus sat down on the floor and Merr spread out so he wouldn't touch any part of him. Kyro finished applying the lotion to Rabid, who was now spitting out his purple rabies foam. Kyro stood up and looked at his mess of an apartment.
“Now...you may both assist me in cleaning my condo. Aeolus, Bree, you may leave.” Kyro said, walking over and opening the door for them. They nodded and left. Kyro turned to Merr and Rabid who were trying not to breath in the lavender smell. Kyro smiled and walked over to a closet and pulled out cleaning supplies. He threw some bleach at Rabid and then a mop and bucket of water at Merr. He went to get another bucket and put some water in it and handed it to Rabid. Rabid and Merr stared at Kyro who looked back at them. “Well.” the dragon stated “What?” The duo asked “Clean!” Kyro said, and pushed Rabid and Merr to the kitchen. -A couple days later- Aeolus walked into a coffee shop where he was going to meet Merr and Rabid for coffee. As he turned to the booth where they were going to drink coffee together, Aeolus stifled a laugh. Rabid pouted and Merr glared at Aeolus. Rabid had several dull gray or white patches in his coat and his rabies foam was still purple. Merr had extended white patches and some gray around his eyes. “I think we both hate bleach right now.” Merr grumbled and took a sip of his coffee. “I don't think you will ever try to bathe Kyro again.” Aeolus said as he got his hot cocoa and sat down with Rabid and Merr. “No, never ever.” Rabid said and Merr nodded. |
Lavender Lotion When Bree and Aeolus reached the seventh floor of the condo, they started to look for the twelfth room. As Aeolus knocked on the door, Kyro opened it, slightly rubbing his upper left arm. Bree slapped his hand away and Kyro gave her a pouting look but stopped touching his arm. Rabid and Merr were on the ground, scratching and using the carpet as a back scratcher and occasionally helping each other scratch.
“I believe that even though I got bathed in it, they are itchier than I am.” Kyro stated and Bree nodded and then looked around. “Where's your lotion?” he asked and Kyro pointed to a bottle of lavender lotion sitting on a table beside a black leather couch. As Bree walked over to get it, he looked around the condo. It was nice and neat with white walls that had gray waves at the bottom. The condo itself smelled like intense lavender. Across from the black leather couch was a plasma TV. When Bree got to the table to grab the lotion, he could see a bit into Kyro's room. There was a large desk with a desktop and a laptop sitting on it and across from it was a big bed and a hammock. After seeing how neat and organized the bedroom and living room was, Bree wondered if Rabid and Merr had already been here or if this was their first time in Kyro's condo. When he turned to take the lotion back to Kyro and Aeolus, Bree saw them on the floor, sitting on Merr and Rabid to keep them from scratching themselves or each other. Bree rushed over with the lotion and handed it to Aeolus who was sitting on Merr. “Okay. Go get two more bottles from my bathroom, first door on the left.” Kyro said and pointed to the door to his bathroom. “Two bottles?” Bree asked, turning to go into the bathroom to get the two bottles of lotion Kyro requested. “Yes, one for me to rub Rabid with, the other for you to rub me with.” he answered as Bree walked into the bathroom. The bathroom was huge and uber clean, Kyro style. Sitting on the edge of a tub and in a shower on a ledge, was lavender shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Bree walked over to a cabinet and opened it to find it nearly overflowing with first aid supplies. Bree quickly shut it back before anything fell out and opened the one next to it and found bottle after bottle of lavender lotion. As he walked out of the bathroom, he shut off the light and closed the door only to find Aeolus wrestling with Merr as he was trying to rub the lotion onto the demon. Kyro had now resorted to laying down on Rabid to hold him down. Bree ran over to them and knelt down to hand Kyro the lotion. He took it and when Bree went to open the other bottle to put some on Kyro, he shook his head. “No, judging from Aeolus and Merr, I'll get enough on me from fighting with Rabid.” he said and Bree nodded, stepping back to look around the room again. “Kyro, where's your kitchen?” he asked and Kyro stopped struggling with Rabid for a moment to point to the kitchen door and then went back to pouring lavender lotion on Rabid. |
